History

Bryn Hall was established by John and Hazel Phillips in 1993 and was originally based near Overton-on-Dee in North Wales. With their backgrounds in furniture and antiques, John and Hazel identified a gap in the market for high quality yet affordable bespoke British made furniture, and for over a decade they sold purely through exhibiting at shows up and down the country.

The business gained a solid reputation not only for quality products but for a high level of service which still keeps customers returning and recommending Bryn Hall time and again. We then had a showroom in Congleton but have since move back to our workshops in Suffolk, Stonham Road, Mickfield, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP145LS.

Please come in and talk to Torben Reeve and see funiture being made my our 25 skiled craftsman or call Torben on him mobile of 07796271862.

What makes us different?

British-made Bespoke Furniture

All our furniture is not only made to order, it's made to your order, so will always be tailored to your available space and to match its surroundings.  Bespoke can mean any of the following:

An exact copy of what you have seen on display, online or in our catalogue (same size, same finish, same shade, same fabric, etc) but still made to order specifically for you.

Similar to one you have seen but with a few 'tweaks' to suit your individual requirements ( e.g. a bit longer, different handles, thicker table top, darker staining more distressing, slimmer drawers etc.)

A one-off piece we design (or you design yourselves) to fulfill a particular need or fill a particular space in your home. Perhaps it needs to match some existing pieces (e.g. in shade or dimensions) or even have some bespoke carving or fittingd? Or perhaps it has a specfic purpose, such as storage for TV/Hi-fi equipment or a collection of some sort.

A complete room scheme or project- for example, we have designed and supplied complete kitchens, studies and bedrooms to customers' specific requirements, assisting all the way from ideas and sesign through to installation.

Our furniture is hand crafted in mainly solid oak or cherry using a mixture of traditional and contemporary methods.  Each step, from the selection of the timber to the hand-finished polishing, is carried out with the highest degree of craftsmanship.  This means that it is made to last for the next generation and beyond.

We have a wide variety of fabrics for you to choose from for sofas and upholstered chairs, including ranges from the likes of Linwood and Jim Dickens, or alternatively you can provide your own.

Free Home Visit Service

It is important to us that you make the right choices when it comes to our products.
